Who We are Becoming is Frightening

While spending the night with two friends of mine and scrolling through the scarce land of Netflix, I stumble upon The Planet of the Apes from 1968. I love this movie. Absolutely on of the most beautifully created movies EVER. The makeup is so jaw dropping, the acting is priceless, AND it is so class to the max I can barely handle it!

Anyway, while me and my friends were watching this glorious movie, I started to ramble on about many things. One of the topics that I brought up is the fact that our society is losing so much.
First, our society is losing the attractive gene. Or maybe is is just the fact that people need more CLASS and less swag.
Next, our generation is becoming the generation of "Better on CD than live." That makes me want to weep for the poor souls of our nation. The children will never understand the greatness of going to a concert with such high expectations and having those expectations blown into dust because the talent of that artist is a million times better than expected, and being able to only hold on to that feeling for a mere few hours but remembering the mind blowing experience for the rest of your life passing on those memories to you children and their children. Now it is a  pity that our nation just waves by "talent" as an "attractive" person when it use to be so much more.
Finally, I brought up a topic that was brought to my attention in my English class. 100 years ago students graduated with 100,000 words that they know and could express themselves with. Now, in the 21st century, students graduate with a slim 25,000 words. How. Pathetic. A quote that gives me chills: "If we can't think for ourselves, if we're unwilling to question authority, then we're just putty in the hands of those in power." - Carl Sagan Think about that. If we don't think for ourselves, someone will GLADLY do it for us. We must question what we doubt. How can we be so ignorant as to follow what someone tells us. We can't allow people to herd us like animals. I am scared that in our future we will forget how to think for ourselves which can result in a higher body taking over such as the Apes.
Now you may be thinking I am some crazy person but I write this as a warning. Be a questioner. When things make you feel uneasy their may be a reason. Be cautious.
